The Unitec Veterinary clinic was established in 1995 as an integral part of the Unitec Veterinary Nursing course. It was one of the first vet clinics in New Zealand to achieve NZ Veterinary Association Best Practise Accreditation, . Our philosophy is to provide the general public with the highest quality veterinary care for their pets. With our two experienced veterinarians, we like to have a team approach for those difficult cases to ensure the best outcome for your pet. At the end of 2006 Unitec Veterinary Hospital joined with St Lukes Veterinary Clinic to form Auckland Veterinary Group. While the clinics continue to operate seperately, our combined resources and knowledge allows us to provide the optimum care for our clients. In July 2009 Unitec Veterinary Hospital acquired Akarana Veterinary Clinic and in May 2011 merged this practice in with Unitec Veterinary Hospital. The clinic is situated just inside entrance 3 of the Unitec grounds, off Carrington Rd, Mt Albert. Parking is conveniently available outside the clinic.
